I worked on the frontend team at HiGeorge as the company transitioned to a SAAS product that would allow newspapers to generate and maintain a library of data visualizations on their own using our national datasets.
• Led frontend development for HiGeorge’s flagship SAAS product, which allows businesses to generate and store real-time, interactive data visualizations.
• Designed and built the entire frontend authentication and accounts core infrastructure.
• Became the company lead on analytics after integrating events tracking across the product and setting up dashboards to analyze KPIs & optimize user flows in Amplitude.
• Created a centralized platform for the BD team to administer user accounts and provision access to data feeds, which was previously done manually by the engineering team.
I founded a startup with one of my best friends with the goal of transforming the messaging and administrative experience for student groups.

I worked with a local shipping logistics business to create cloud software that would replace the legacy application they used to manage their business.
• Single-handedly architected and built a cloud database management application for a shipping logistics business clearing mid-six figure annual revenue to handle 500 monthly shipments across 7 domains.
• Created a customer portal that fully automated time-consuming processes such as filing shipments, giving status updates, and requesting support, which were previously done via phone.
• Integrated analytics collection everywhere, allowing the client to identify the strength of its various business segments and the causes of customer churn, among other benefits.
• Designed a custom UI that vastly simplified the software, significantly reducing onboarding time and speeding up daily workflows.
I significantly improved a suite of image processing tools created to help materials science researchers perform analysis on relevant images.
• Gave real time analysis alerts, which were previously delivered via email, by creating a WebSocket networking layer that integrated with existing authentication and REST infrastructure.
• Added a suite of image editing tools and metadata collection capabilities to the main image upload tool used to collect data for materials science image analysis applications.
• Conceived and led a web design workshop to teach PhD students how to build personal websites using GitHub Pages and Markdown.
